2024 Colorado Wine and Dine Escape to Paonia

Friday May 10th through Sunday May 12th

Kick off Summer 2024 with our Annual Wine & Dine Escape weekend! This year we’re teaming up again with the World Class Bed & Breakfast – The Bross Hotel – AND also the extremely unique & special – Wisehart Springs Inn! Our gathering is limited to 13 couples or 26 guests. Our goal is to provide a special spring weekend of casual enjoyment, relaxation, fine wine and cuisine in the heart of Colorado’s largest concentration of organic farms, centered in the West Elks American Viticultural Area.

6:30-8:30 Relax with Wine & Hors D’oeuvres at the Reception at the
Historic Bross Hotel


8:30-10:00 Breakfasts provided by the guests’ home hotel

10:30-12:00 Wine Seminar, Tour and Barrel Tasting at Stone Cottage Cellars – Select 12 wines for the case included in your Escape – delivered to hotel by 4:00

12:00-6:00 Free time for Cheese Tastings, Wine & Cider Tastings at West Elks wineries, lunch, sheep dog trials, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, local art shops

6:30-8:30 Winemaker’s Dinner at Wisehart Springs Dining Room
4 Course Menu by Chef Ron Jardon

8:30-10:00 Breakfasts provided by the guest’s home hotel

Herb-Crusted Organic Free-Range Chicken with sautéed local wild mushroom ragu served with sautéed baby carrots with lemon zest and garlic butter over a bed of Minnesota Wild Rice drizzled with 10-year-aged black truffle oil

Dessert Course

Double chocolate brownie with vineyard wild blackberry sauce and rosewater créme fraiche.

Fresh Baked Artisanal Local Breads (GF available) with Dipping dish of balsamic caramel vinegar, virgin olive oil &
