The story of our scale - Back in the day, before experience ripened Brent’s awareness of the business of winemaking, a “miscalculation” from the grape seller, cost him dearly. As told by ‘Bird Dog’ (aka Karen’s Dad)- this antique beauty was purchased at an auction in North Dakota for a whole $20 and lovingly transported over 800 miles in the back of a pick up for its final home in western Colorado.
