From some of the highest Merlot vineyards in the northern hemisphere we craft an bold, rich, red with black cherry, cassis and a sinful smoothness. More reminiscent of Tuscan Sangiovese that west coast Merlot, this wine pairs best with garlic, basil, oregano, and rosemary in bold-flavored Italian dishes such as lasagna, and bolognese. It also pairs well with wild game, especially elk.
